HEATHERS

Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's ass' but J.D. has another plan for that bullet.

HEATHERS: The Musical is based on the 1989 film staring Winona Ryder, Christian Slater and Shannen Doherty which was directed by Michael Lehmann and written by Daniel Waters.

Full production details will be announced late 2018.

MUSICAL DIRECTOR - Kristin Stefanoff

Kristin has always lived and breathed music, but it wasn't until 2009 that she discovered musical theatre. After accompanying her first show she thought, "Hey, this looks like fun!" and auditioned at the next opportunity. The rest, as they say, is history. Favourite roles include Smitty in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Marie Clark Musical Theatre 2013), Inga in Young Frankenstein (Marie Clark Musical Theatre 2014), Clara in The Light In The Piazza (Davine Interventionz 2016), Cathy in The Last Five Years (Segue Productions 2017), and ensemble/Lady of The Lake Understudy in Spamalot (Marie Clark Musical Theatre).

Kristin has also accompanied numerous shows, and music directed Calamity Jane for Marie Clark in 2014. She is excited to be able to music direct Heathers the Musical for Segue Productions in 2019.

Kristin is on the committee for Marie Clark Musical Theatre and is a founding member of Segue Productions.

When she's not at rehearsals or the theatre, Kristin teaches singing and piano and raises an active and already very musical preschooler (at least, in the opinion of her very unbiased mother).

CHOREOGRAPHER - Ashleigh Robson

Ashleigh  started dancing at 3 years of age, and her love of the stage only grew from there. Her very first musical was La Cage Aux Folles (OPUS), followed by playing Mayzie La Bird in Seussical (Tatachilla Lutheran College). She has been blessed to be able to be in the ensemble for many bucket list shows, including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (OPUS), Legally Blonde (Hills Musical Company), Jekyll & Hyde (Marie Clark Musical Theatre), Les Miserables (G&S Society) and Spamalot (Marie Clark Musical Theatre). She has also been lucky enough to choreograph Annie Jnr (Investigator College) and High School Musical (Stayg25). She is also very excited for her next choreography adventure with Segue Productions’ next show, Heathers the Musical.

Ashleigh is currently playing Elena in If/Then with Segue Productions.
